The holidays are upon us once again and as we reflect on the year that was, it seems like a great time to do an update on what has happened in the vehicle building and contracts world in 2023.
Here is some good news! As of the end of 2023, we will have built and delivered over 400 buses and vans and have nearly built out the entire pandemic orders backlog! Production capabilities continue to improve at all of our manufacturers, and we are looking forward to getting back to normalized order timelines.
Below you will find the current available MDOT contracts and links as well as helpful information when considering replacements. Hoekstra Transportation is the LOW-BIDDER on all of these contracts by the way. So, no local funds needed!
Minivans:
The contract for lowered floor, accessible minivans, runs through April of 2024 with 2 possible extension years. You will find both side-entry and rear-entry options available. The great news on this contract is FAST production at BraunAbility, averaging only 6-10 weeks from order to delivery! 4 year/100K mile replacement category. Contact us with any questions!
